Беларуси и России запретили приехать на церемонию памяти в Бухенвальде. Причина — гибель в Харькове узника концлагеря
Россию и Беларусь не пригласили церемонию в 77-ую годовщину освобождения Бухенвальда. Торжественная церемония памяти узников созданного нацистами концлагеря состоится 10 апреля.
В этом году она будет посвящена памяти Бориса Романченко. Малолетний узник Бухенвальда выжил в лагере, но погиб 18 марта в своей квартире во время обстрела Харькова российскими войсками.
В Фонде напомнили, что 96-летний Борис Романченко на протяжении десятилетий работал над тем, чтобы рассказывать другим об ужасах нацистской эпохи. Он был вице-президентом от Украины международного комитета Бухенвальд-Дора.
О невозможности участия в церемонии официальных представителей России и Беларуси заявили в мемориальном фонде бывшего концлагеря. В заявлении отметили, что посольства обеих стран в Берлине проинформируют о соответствующем решении соответственно протоколу.
