Слухи о том, что у киноактера Брюса Уиллиса есть проблемы со здоровьем, появились еще в прошлом году. Но до последнего не проговаривалось, насколько все серьезно. 17 марта, за два дня до 67-летния Уиллиса, стало известно, что актер оставляет карьеру из-за неизлечимой болезни.
67 — возраст, когда, по голливудским меркам, еще рано уходить на покой, тем более, что «крепкий орешек» Брюс по-прежнему популярен у поклонников американских боевиков. Но проблемы со здоровьем уже не позволяют Уиллису работать.
Брюс Уиллис страдает от ранней деменции. Прогрессирующий недуг вызывает у него потерю памяти.
Уже давно стало известно, что актер вынужден сниматься с «ухом», при помощи которого ему подсказывает текст суфлер. Эту информацию подтвердил и режиссер Мэтт Эскандари. Он же прямо написал о том, что голливудская знаменитость страдает «слабоумием».
«Это правда. Я снял с ним четыре фильма, так что знаю не понаслышке. Печально видеть, как на твоих глазах рушится такая легенда как Брюс Уиллис. Я видел, каково это — работать с ним в последние несколько лет», — поделился Эскандари.
На уйти звезда собирается красиво — на 2022 год у актера запланированы съемки в 11 лентах.
