Британские ученые-медики, проанализировав анамнезы более 20 тысяч пациентов, пришли к выводу, что повторный коронавирус можно отнести к легким заболеваниям.
Они уверяют, что у заразившихся повторно наблюдается более низкая вирусная нагрузка, кто в меньшей степени делает их источниками распространения инфекции. Более легкие у заболевших повторно и симптомы.
Обследование людей, перенесших коронавирус, с целью выявления рисков повторного заражения, началось в апреле прошлого года. К медикам присоединилось Управление национальной статистики.
Итог: из 19470 человек во второй раз заболели 195, иначе говоря, 1%. В финишном исследовании объектом внимания стали только люди, у которых был положительный результат через 90 дней после первого положительного мазка, а также отрицательные тесты между первым и вторым заражением.
Сравнив пороговые значения цикла Ct (количество вируса SARS-CoV-2 в образце мазка) добровольцев между первым и вторым заражением, медики установили, что только у четверти повторно инфицированных была высокая вирусная нагрузка. Из 93 из них были выраженные симптомы при первом заражении, при повторном — только у 38-и.
О чем это говорит? О том, что иммунитет в случае коронавируса срабатывает, как и при другой инфекции.
