Недавно британская пресса сообщила, что недавно овдовевшая королева Елизавета II проведет Рождество в одиночестве. Но нет, 25 декабря ей составят компанию принц Чарльз и принцесса Камилла.
Традиционно королева Елизавета II проводит Рождество в поместье Сандрингем в Норфолке и со всей семьей идет на Мессу в церковь святой Марии Магдалины при скоплении прессы.
В этот раз она решила остаться одна, объяснив это продолжающейся пандемией COVID-19, хотя отказ приехать на Рождество принца Гарри и его семье стал месяц назад медийным скандалом.
Но принц Чарльз все же составит компанию королеве, несмотря на отсутствие многочисленной королевской родни.
