Австралийские птицы в прямом смысле записали один из самых популярных альбомов года. Он уже обошел в чартах The Weeknd, ABBA и Адель.
Альбом «Songs of Disappearance» («Песни исчезновения») находится в пятерке самых популярных релизов австралийского чарта Aria. Он представляет собой 54 трека, состоящих из щебетания находящихся под угрозой вымирания австралийских птиц.
На создание альбома ушло более 30 лет. Звукорежиссер Дэвид Стюарт часами гулял по лесам и прятался в кустах, поджидая нужных птиц. В среднем треки длятся от 26 до 50 секунд. Однако на релизе есть песня длиной почти три минуты — это фит всех птиц, поучаствовавших в записи.
«Songs of Disappearance» уже обошел в чарте The Weeknd, Оливию Родриго и других звезд, включая ABBA . Все вырученные от продажи альбома средства пойдут на защиту природы.
