Финны создали молекулу, которая на 8 часов защитит от всех штаммов коронавируса. Это спасет врачей в «красных зонах»?
Финские ученые из Хельсинкского университета разработали препарат для восьмичасовой защиты от COVID-19. Препарат обеспечивает защиту даже в особо сложных условиях.
По словам медиков, их разработка не является альтернативой прививке, а должна дополнять ее.
«Культивирование клеток и исследования на животных показывают, что новая молекула TriSb92, разработанная исследователями, защищает от коронавирусной инфекции не менее восьми часов даже в случаях высокого риска заражения», — говорится в заявлении ученых.
В отличие от вакцин, препарат из молекулы действовать начинает моментально. Авторы исследования отметили, что лабораторные мыши, получившие TriSb92, не заразились коронавирусом в ходе эксперимента.
Препарат может подавлять заразность всех известных науке штаммов коронавируса Sars-CoV-2. Это касается также штаммов «дельта» и «омикрон». Согласно позиции финских исследователей, найденная ими молекула не является альтернативой вакцине, а должна дополнять прививку.
Такой препарат, в первую очередь, могли бы давать работающим в «красных зонах» врачам и медсестрам.
