Французы построили катамаран, который взлетает над водой и не «ест» топлива
Разработчики из французского стартапа A2V создали скоростной катамаран нового поколения, который разгоняется настолько быстро, что взлетает над водой, а вот топлива при этом потребляет минимум.
Автор конструкции — Фернана Эрве, владелец верфей, на которых проводятся испытания аэродинамической подъемной силы. Футуристический дизайн разработал Марк Ломбард. У каждого из уже выпущенных катамаранов есть свое имя, хотя бороздят Женевское озеро они под общим наименованием концепта «Lili», рассказывает ресурс о технике Novate.
За основу была взята идея сделать сверхлегкий катамаран с аэродинамической формой, который позволит судну буквально подниматься над водой по мере увеличения скорости. Разогнаться «Lili» способны до 100 км\час.
Катамараны сделаны из легкого стекловолокна и пластика, их масса — 3,5 т, длина — 10 м. Благодая конструктивному решению катамаран затрачивает втрое меньше топлива, чем его предшественники, и в 10 раз меньше, чем вертолет с такой же скоростью.
Один из катамаранов купило княжество Монако — чтобы связать порт Геркулеса и пристань Кала-дель-Форте в Вентимильи.
