Пилотируемый корабль «Союз МС-19» с киноэкипажем пристыковался к Международной космической станции. На борту находились космонавт Антон Шкаплеров, режиссер Клим Шипенко и актриса Юлия Пересильд.
Старт прошел в штатном режиме и вскоре корабль вышел на заданную орбиту. Через три часа 27 минут после запуска произошла стыковка с МКС. Не обошлось без мелких проблем – корабль не смог состыковаться с МКС в автоматическом режиме, поэтому командир Антон Шкаплеров перешел на ручное управление: автоматика отказала, но, как говорится, ничего страшного — космонавтов к этому готовят. Опытному Антону Шкаплерову во время стыковки ассистировала Юлия Пересильд.
