Картину, написанную свиньей из ЮАР по кличке Пигкассо, продали с аукциона за 20 тысяч фунтов стерлингов.
Полотно под названием «Дикая и свободная побило мировой рекорд стоимости картин, написанных животными.
Торги за произведение «художницы продолжались около 72 часов. Досталось ее творение коллекционеру из ФРГ.
Владелица животного рассказала, что Пигкассо спасли от забоя пять лет назад. Тогда свинье был всего один месяц. Со временем хозяева заметили, что их питомица проявляет интерес к живописи, в итоге животное создало множество удивительных произведений.
На эту работу, в частности, у живописицы ушло несколько недель. Чтобы нарисовать картину, художница использовала акриловые краски белого, зеленого и синего цветов.
Выручка с продажи картины пойдет на содержание фермы, где живет Пигкассо.
