На Крите открылся необычный музей — подводный. Все экспонаты расположены на дне.
Автор идеи и воплощения — скульптор Джейсон ДеКер Тейлор. Он создал около сотни фигур и передал их Криту для установки на морском дне. Но не только. На морском дне есть и нерукотворные чудеса, созданные природой. В этот состояла концепция Тейлора – гармонично объединить творения человека и моря, рассказывает Агентство хороших новостей.
Что увидят дайверы? Монументальных персонажей, подводный лес, в котором играют застывшие дети.
Предполагается, что новая достопримечательность привлечет на остров дополнительные потоки туристов. Правда, им придется освоить подводное плавание.
Постоянной экспозиция не будет, ведь скульптуры обрастут биомассой и превратятся в подводные рифы. Это не вечная красота и, чтобы оставить за морем первенство, Тейлор использовал для создания скульптур экологичные материалы, нейтральные по уровню рН и полностью безопасные для морской среды.
Музей не Крите — не первый подводный музей Тейлора. Ранее он создал подводную экспозицию MUSAN в 200 метрах от береговой линии курортного города Айя-Напа.
