Жители города Тодоки на испанском острове Ла-Пальма, пожираемом вулканом Кумбре Вьеха, успели снять, как городская церковь, оказавшись на пути лавы, мгновенно обрушивается и исчезает в черной пыли и стене дыма.
Извержение вулкана уже разрушило на Ла-Пальме, где живет 85 тысяч человек, 500 зданий и 20 километров. 6 тысяч человек остались без крыши над головой.

Сейчас лава находится в 800 м от моря. Если она дойдет до воды, произойдет выброс огромного количество водяного пара. Его сочетание с токсичными вулканическими газами может вызвать ожоги органов дыхания.
