На жителей американского городка перед Новым годом пролился рыбный дождь. Так бывает?
Перед Новым годом в американском городке Тексаркана в штате Техас прошел рыбный дождь.
Только в этой местности иногда случается такое природное явление. После того, как 30 декабря над несколькими районами города прошел так называемый рыбный дождь, администрация Тексарканы призвала местных жителей делиться своим «уловом».
Люди охотно публиковали фото рыб, которых принес дождь. Это были не только мальки и молодь, а и вполне взрослые особи.
Дожди из животных — редкое метеорологическое явление. Ученые объясняют это тем, что сильный ветер или смерчи подхватывают и переносят животных на определенное расстояние, а после ослабления ветра они падают на землю.
Во время таких «дождей» можно увидеть рыб, лягушек, змей, маленьких птиц, летучих мышей. Некоторые небольшие животные могут падать и оставаться невредимыми, а некоторые разбиваются. Иногда с неба могут падать обмороженные или вмерзшие в глыбы льда животные.
