NASA ищет добровольцев для моделирования жизни на Марсе
Осенью 2022 года стартует миссия NASA, суть которой — моделирование жизни на Марсе в условиях ограничения ресурсов, имитации сбоев оборудования и связи, других стрессовых факторов.
Для участия в эксперименте с воспроизведением атмосферы Красной планеты NASA нужны добровольцы — «высокомотивированные люди, готовые находится в суровых условиях долгосрочного наземного симулятора».
Экипаж будет состоять из четырех членов. Требования к кандидатам — гражданство США, крепкое здоровье, возраст от 30 до 55 лет, отсутствие вредных привычек, опыт работы пилотом, степень магистра естественных наук, инженерии или математики, владение английским языком.
Всего пройдут три однолетние миссии. Площадку, имитирующую поверхность Марса, предоставил Техасский космический центр Джонсона. Это модуль Mars Dune Alpha площадью 160 квадратных метров.
