Не НЛО, а Леониды. Астрономы ответили россиянам, делившимся кадрами падения светящегося космического объекта
В России множество очевидцев опубликовали кадры падения яркого космического объекта. «НЛО» видели в Пермском крае, Удмуртии и еще нескольких российских регионах.
Руководитель пермского астроклуба «Телескоп» Сергей Полищук заявил, что люди видели метеорит размером около метра. По его словам, во время наблюдения «складывалось ощущение, будто он падал прямо на Землю».
Старший научный сотрудник Государственного астрономического института имени Штернберга МГУ им. Ломоносова Владимир Сурдин, в свою очередь, считает, что метеор был размером примерно с ладонь, а его части не могли оказаться на Земле, так как «все рассыпалось на большой высоте».
А специалисты Уфимского планетария полагают, что это последствия метеорного потока Леониды. По их данным, максимум действия этого метеоритного потока пришелся как раз в ночь с 16 на 17 ноября.
