Новая книга Кинга о коронавирусе будет отличаться от «Противостояния»
Стивен Кинг объявил о намерении написать роман о коронавирусе.
«Следующая книга, которую я хочу написать, будет посвящена непосредственно коронавирусу. Я хочу взять события 2020 года и посмотреть, как они проявятся в фактуре романа. Это будет сложно», — сказал Кинг накануне в эфире ток-шоу The View.
Также Кинг также рассказал о своей последней книге «Билли Саммерс» (Billy Summers) и о том. как пандемия повлияла на процесс ее написания.
Напомним, что книга о «коронавирусе» у писателя уже есть. Это роман «Противостояние», написанный в 1978 году. Читатели и почитатели называют эту книгу пророческой, однако сам Кинг говорит, что события пандемии Covid-19 не похожи на ее сюжет. В «Противостоянии» пандемия уничтожает почти все население мира, и немногие выжившие объединяются в группы и начинают сражаться друг с другом. Книгу экранизировали в 2020 году.
