Уругвайская певица и актриса Наталия Орейро, звезда аргентинского телесериала «Дикий ангел» получила российский паспорт и принесла присягу гражданина Российской Федерации.
Торжественная церемония прошла в российском посольстве в Буэнос-Айресе. Орейро сначала зачитала текст присяги на русском языке, а затем на испанском. «Большое спасибо! Я вас всех очень люблю в России», — добавила она по-русски.
Переезжать в Россию певица не планирует. Да и о гражданстве особо не просила — его Орейро и ее сыну присвоил Владимир Путин. Певица назвала это большой честью и поблагодарила за это всех россиян.
Посол России в Аргентине Дмитрий Феоктистов отметил вклад Наталии Орейро в развитие связей между странами, сказав, что «она в каком-то смысле дипломат, потому что для дипломатии нет задачи более важной, чем сближение народов».
Получив российский паспорт, Наталья Орейро сказала, что хотела бы воплотить в кино образ сильной русской женщины и написать новую песню для российского турне.
