Фронтмен Scorpions Клаус Майне переделал свой хит, рок-балладу Wind of Change, написанную под впечатлением выступления в Москве в августе 1989 года. Песня стала не только визитной карточкой немецкой группы, а и неофициальным гимном эпохи перемен и окончания «холодной войны».
Эпоха, воспетая Майне, окончательно завершилась 24 февраля вторжением российской армии в Украину. Прежде баллада Wind of Changes начиналась словами «Идя по берегу Москвы-реки в парк Горького». Теперь Майне изменил текст песни, первая строка звучит «А теперь послушай мое сердце — оно говорит Украина».
