В Канаде доктор Майкл Нарви, работающий в одной из больниц провинции Манитоба, объявил о наличии у него необычной пациентки.
Женщина обратилась к врачам, пожаловавшись на сбившийся менструальный цикл: на фоне 49-дневной задержки у нее началось кровотечение, длившееся две недели. Ультразвук показал, что она беременна, но плод развивается в ее печени. Это уникальная вариация внематочной беременности.
«До этого случая я думал, что видел все», — говорит Майкл Нарви.
В Сети ему ответил врач из Индии доктор Каран Радж, которому доводилось наблюдать 27-летнюю женщину с 23-недельным плодом в правой доле печени.
Внематочная беременность считается осложнением: прикрепление оплодотворенной яйцеклетки происходит вне полости матки, но другие органы к такой нагрузке не готовы. У матери чаще всего развиваются внутренние кровотечения, а ребенок, за редким исключением, является нежизнеспособным. Без своевременного вмешательства внематочная беременность даже может привести к смертельному исходу.
