Стрельба на улицах Риги замышлялась как «урок для русскоязычных»?
Именно в таком ракурсе преподнесли многие отечественные и российские СМИ информацию об учениях Namejs-2021 подразделений НАТО, часть которых прошла на улицах столицы Латвии.
Видео, на котором солдаты ведут пулеметный огонь прямо на улицах Риги, мгновенно стало вирусным. В ряде изданий его сопроводили заголовками вроде «Урок русскоязычным Риги».
Учения действительно оказались изобилующими проколами, недоработками и очевидным вторжением в личное пространство горожан. На кадрах видно, как перекрестке центральных улиц Сколас и Элизабетес солдаты в боевой амуниции отрабатывают тактические задачи, стреляя в воздух из ручного пулемета.
Результат — министру обороны страны пришлось лично извиняться перед рижанами. Дело в том, что учения организовали прямо в городе, не предупредив жителей и не оградив «боевую» территорию.
Разумеется, многие прохожие испугались, увидев, как по улице под звук выстрелов бегут вооруженные люди. В военном ведомстве Латвии это назвали «досадным недоразумением».
Но испугались не все жители Риги. Если автолюбители жаловались на пробки, устроенные военной техникой, заблокировавшей дороги, то многие грибники рассказали в сетях, как пошли в лес и нашли на своей привычной грибной «заимке» не маслята, а прячущихся солдат. И сфотографировались с ними.
