Twitter запустил в тестовом режиме пользовательскую функцию, позволяющую самостоятельно отмечать твиты с дезинформацией.
Владельцы соцсети надеются таким образом успешнее бороться с фейками.
Сообщение о новой функции, доступной пока небольшому количеству пользователей из США, Южной Кореи и Австралии, появилось в аккаунте компании.
Предполагается, что, увидев запись с лживыми сведениями, пользователь воспользуется опцией «сообщить о твите» и пометит его как «вводящий в заблуждение». В ответ публикация будет проверена и, при необходимости, удалена.
«Мы оцениваем, насколько эта функция эффективна, поэтому начинаем с малого. Мы не можем предпринимать действия и не можем отвечать на каждый отчет во время тестирования, но ваш вклад поможет нам понять тенденции, чтобы мы могли повысить скорость и масштаб нашей работы по поиску дезинформации», — говорится в заявлении Twitter.
Напомним, в прошлом году на фоне пандемии компания начала удалять фейки о коронавирусе и вакцинах. Основатель Telegram Павел Дуров раскритиковал это начинание как «цензуру».
