В Амстердаме над каналом открыли мост, напечатанный на 3D-принтере. По нему можно ходить?
Королева Нидерландов открыла 16 июля в Амстердаме первый в мире стальной пешеходный мост, напечатанный на 3D-принтере. Максимальный вес, который мост готов выдержать, — 40 тонн.
Сооружение установлено над каналом Аудезейтс-Ахтербургвал не навсегда — через два года капитальный мост, закрытый на реставрацию, вернется в эксплуатацию.
Разработка проекта заняла 4 года. Это ноу-хау группы инженеров из Имперского колледжа Лондона.
Напечатала мост нидерландская компания MX3D.
Конструкция длиной 8 м весит 6 тонн. Она оснащена датчиками для наблюдения за «поведением» моста в режиме реального времени.
По мнению доктора Крейга Бьюкенана из Департамента гражданского строительства, у 3D-технологии есть огромный потенциал в плане эффективности дизайна и экономии материала.
