В ресторанах Флориды появились официанты-роботы. Больше всех рады живые официанты. Почему?
В американском штате Флорида сетевые рестораны Sergio’s Restaurant «наняла» на работу роботов. В качестве официантов. Причем не от желания пропиариться, а от нехватки рабочих рук.
Роботов-официантов зовут Servi. Они оснащены системой камер, лазерными датчиками и моторизованными колесами, — иначе говоря, у них есть все, чтобы доставить заказ с кухни к столику.
Проблем с роботами нет. Но особенно довольны «живые» официанты — теперь они менее загружены, у них появилось время полюбезничать с клиентами и, как следствие, получить чаевые побольше.
Установка одного робота, вкупе с обслуживанием, обходится сети в 1000 долларов в месяц. И это окупается.
Владельцы ресторана планируют взять на работу роботов «следующего поколения» –помощников живых официантов и поваров, которые подавали бы тарелки и собирали грязную посуду в посудомоечную машину.
