В Саудовской Аравии более 40 верблюдов сняли с конкурса красоты. Из-за ботокса
Саудовской Аравии регулярно проводятся конкурсы красоты среди верблюдов. В этот раз в ходе финального отбора разразился скандал. Более 40 животных были уличены в том, что их внешность «улучшили» с помощью инъекций ботокса.
Понятно, что на «уколы красоты» решились не сами верблюды, а их владельцы. Ведь главный приз на конкурсе красоты в городе Абдулазизе — 66 миллионов долларов.
Жюри судит верблюдов по форме головы, шеи, горбов, одежде и осанке.
Ради доведения параметров участников до абсолюта владельцы использовали ботокс и филлеры, некоторым животным сделали подтяжки лица и накачали их мускулы с помощью гормональных препаратов.
Косметические уловки не только нарушают правила конкурса, но и вредят животным. Поэтому судьи ужесточили контроль и применили новые технологии для выявления фальсификаций.
Конкурс красоты среди верблюдов является частью масштабного фестиваля, который длится месяц и включает верблюжьи бега, выставки самых высоких и самых маленьких животных, аукционы.
Фестиваль ежегодно привлекает сотни тысяч гостей и направлен на сохранение бедуинских традиций в разведении верблюдов. Эта отрасль приносит заводчикам многомиллионные доходы, и аналогичные мероприятия проходят во всем регионе.
