Ватикан призвал Польшу и другие страны ЕС принять ситуацию с беженцами и самих беженцев
Пресс-секретарь Ватикана по отношениям с государствами Пол Ричард Галлахер по итогам переговоров с главой МИД РФ Сергеем Лавровым 9 ноября заявил о том, что страны ЕС должны взять на себя ответственность за скопившихся на белорусско-польской границе беженцев и посмотреть на сложившуюся ситуацию «через призму судеб».
«Наша позиция состоит в том, что мы призываем власти по всей Европе принять на себя ответственность в том, что касается мигрантов и беженцев. Мы призываем все стороны принять на себя ответственность и решить этот очень серьезный гуманитарный кризис», — сказал Галлахер.
Говоря о позиции Польской Католической церкви, Галлахер подчеркнул, что она осуждает жесткий подход властей и призывает их к более гуманному и гибкому подходу.
«Я призываю всех смотреть на эту ситуацию не в численном отношении, а с точки зрения судеб людей, таких же, как мы, которые столкнулись с очень серьезной ситуацией. Безусловно, есть те, кто несет ответственность за развитие этой ситуации, и они должны взять на себя свою часть ответственности», — резюмировал представитель Ватикана.
