Крупнейшие новостные сайты мира практически одновременно «порадовали» подписчиков порнороликами. «Отличились» New York Magazine, Washington Post, HuffPost, The Verge и еще множество лидеров трафика.
Оказалось, сообщает Онлайнер, порнография появилась случайно. Дело в том, что крупный порносайт, занимающийся созданием пикантных роликов, выкупил домен сервиса Vidme, использование которого было прекращено в 2017 году. Но еще раньше многие интернет-ресурсы встраивали ролики, опубликованные на этом сервисе.
Домен позиционировался как гибрид YouTube и reddit. Новый владелец использует тот же код встраиваемого плеера, только наполнение теперь другое.
Факт появления в широком поле контента, предназначенного не для всех, вскрывает проблемность использования сторонних сервисов с возможностью вставить информацию с них без копирования. Получается, что со временем контент может исчезнуть либо измениться, как это произошло с порнороликами.
