В США 24 декабря на пляже Коко-Бич в штате Флорида прошел ежегодный фестиваль Surfing Santas.
В 2009 году он зародился как традиционная вечеринка группы друзей. Но в 2014 года ему придал размах Флоридский музей серфинга. И фестиваль стал международным праздником, объединяющий Санта-Клаусов всего мира, готовых покорить волны.
На берегу в рамках фестиваля проводятся концерты, конкурсы для всей семьи и другие развлекательные мероприятия.
Ежегодно на фестиваль приезжает более 800 Санта-Клаусов, и еще почти 10 тысяч зрителей любуются красочным событием.
Участие в празднике — бесплатно, но можно сделать добровольное пожертвование или купить сувенирную продукцию. Собранные средства поступают в благотворительный фонд, помогающий онкобольным.
