Японские химики хотят получать из углекислого газа новый наноматериал
В японской лаборатории в Японии нашли энергоэффективный способ преобразования углекислого газа в металлоорганические каркасы — наноструктуры, которые могут использоваться при адресной доставке лекарств и катализе.
Из-за того, что газ очень инертен и стабилен, с ним трудно проводить химические реакции для получения полезных продуктов. Такие процессы требуют большого количества энергии и не окупаются в долгосрочной перспективе. Японские ученые для запуска реакции превращения пропускали CO2 при температуре 25°C и давлении 0,1 МПа через раствор с органической молекулой пиперазином. Они получили белый микрокристаллический порошок, который можно собрать и высушить. Анализ структуры вещества с использованием рентгеновской спектроскопии и спектроскопии ядерного магнитного резонанса подтвердил, что появившийся осадок действительно является наночастицей, которую планировалось создать.
Наночастицы отличаются высокой площадью поверхности, хотя изготовлены из более чем 30% CO2 по массе. Такое свойство делает их функциональными материалами. Следующий шаг — понять возможность использования реакции превращения CO2 в наночастицы на промышленных объектах, например, на угольных электростанциях.
