Что делать с клубничными кустами после того, как ягоды съедены и закатаны? Готовим грядке к «спячке»
Сезон клубники закончился, но это не означает, что ее кусты выпадают из нашего внимания и больше не нуждаются в заботе. Важно сохранить их высокую продуктивность на следующий год, а для этого предстоит выполнить все правила пост-урожайного ухода.
Обрезаем избыточную зелень
Используем только секатор, обрывать зелень нельзя, иначе повредим жизненно важные части зеленого организма. Оставляем минимум листвы, срезая все лишнее, включая усы.
Рыхлим почву
Земля, в которой клубника укрепила корешки, должна дышать и после сбора урожая. Добросовестно разрыхляем грунт.
Окучиваем растения
Окученные грядки дают в разы больший урожай. Выше качество и самих ягод. Запасшись почвой из мелких комьев, сгребаем ее к основанию кустов.
Подкормка
Магазинные удобрения клубнике не нужны. Если у вас есть куры, подойдет раствор куриного помета. Если нет – мы уже предлагали замечательный вариант с засевом клубничной грядки бобовыми.
Полив
Поливать кусты клубники нужно до окончания грядочного сезона с той же регулярностью, как и другие «плантации».
