Исследователи настаивают — изучение нового языка пойдет гораздо успешнее, если вы будете выполнять задания от руки и записывать новую информацию, а не пользоваться клавиатурой.
Более того — переписывание текстов от руки дает больший эффект, чем просмотр видео, рассказывают ученые о результатах новых исследований в журнале Psychological Science.
Писать от руки сегодня многим кажется странным и неудобным. Тем не менее, исследования, в которых приняла участие фокус-группа из 42 человек, изучающих азы арабского языка, доказали, что самых лучших результатов можно добиться, лишь занимаясь по старинке.
Участники эксперимента работали в трех группах: одна писала от руки, вторая занималась с помощью клавиатуры, третья смотрела видео.
«Визуалы», выучив новую букву, должны были найти ее на экране, печатавшие — на клавиатуре, пишущие — воспроизвести на бумаге.
Предполагалось, что все группы выучат алфавит за 6 занятий. Но люди, писавшие от руки, овладели им к концу второго занятия.
Справились они с отрывом от остальных и с другими заданиями: им предлагалось «обобщить» новые знания, составить знакомые слова и распознать новые.
