Американка Бриттани Каллан зарабатывает на жизнь разведением доберманов. Вместе с семьей она профессионально занимается собаководством и не испытывает особого интереса к другим животным.
Но однажды Бриттани увидела на улице новорожденного котенка. Поиски матери ни к чему не привели. Женщине пришлось нести котенка домой без понимания — как выкормить малыша, который еще не может питаться самостоятельно.
А дальше совсем по-человечески отнеслась к проблеме собака Руби, только что родившая шестерых щенков. Она забрала чуждого детеныша в свое «хозяйство» и стала кормить. Котенок «согласился» и принялся сосать «материнское молоко», лежа в складках ее брюха вместе с другими крохами.
Убедившись, что кошечка выживет, хозяйка назвала ее Рэмблин Роуз и выложила ее фотографии в Сети. Оказалось, что подписчики в восторге и требуют новых рассказов о том, как Руби воспитывает приемное дитя. Бриттани Каллан говорит, что Руби не только кормит, но и учит, и воспитывает юную кошку.
