Что делать, когда машина проваливается под лед? Селфи!
В канадском городе Манотик женщина решила проехаться по замерзшей реке Ридо. Однако лед не выдержал, и автомобиль начал проваливаться в воду.
В этот опасный для жизни момент, пока автомобиль погружался под лед, женщина вылезла на его крышу и стала спокойно себя фотографировать.
К счастью, рядом были местные жители, которые быстро среагировали. Один из мужчин принес веревку и байдарку, с помощью которых и спасли горе-водительницу. Она была спасена вовремя — ведь ее машина почти полностью ушла под воду.
Когда женщину спросили, зачем она это сделала, в ответ услышали: «Я просто развлекаюсь. И я бы точно сделала это снова».
На место происшествия прибыли полиция и медики, чтобы оказать канадке помощь, однако она от нее отказалась.
«В этой части реки тонкий лед по сравнению с другими участками. К счастью, никто не пострадал, и местные жители проделали удивительную работу, спасая водительницу с помощью байдарки», — написали полицейские Оттавы в твиттере.
Автомобиль остался в реке, и полиция предупредила, что он может представлять опасность для зевак, которые рискуют выйти на лед.
Позже водительнице предъявили обвинения в опасной эксплуатации транспортного средства в соответствии с Уголовным кодексом Канады.
