Несколько лет компания GoPro вывела на международный рынок новую камеру для видеосъемки в движении, рекламируя ее как новое слово в быстрой подводной съемке и монтаже клипов.
Одним из рекламных ходов компании стало обещание платить пользователям за интересные фотографии, видео или клипы, сделанные этой камерой. Цена вопроса варьировалась от 500 до 5 тысяч долларов.
В итоге представители компании стали получать множество работ. Тогда было решено объявить конкурс. В 2021 году главный приз GoPro Awards достался итальянцу Луке Милотти.
Отправляясь на парусную прогулку, Милотти не думал о конкурсе. Но, когда за ним увязались дельфины, которых он стал снимать, а после обработал видеосъемку, — решил разместить ее в сети.
