На юге Индии в штате Керала 13 ноября состоялась церемония бракосочетания Энгельса. К нему приехали, среди прочего, Маркс и Хо Ши Мин.
Был среди гостей и родной брат Энгельса — Ленин. Всех молодых людей действительно так зовут, — и, да, они «красные». Жених и гости являются членами местной Коммунистической партии.
Маркс и Хо Ши Мин — тоже родные братья. Как и отец Энгельса и Ленина, их родитель – тоже коммунист.
В Керале Коммунистическая партия правила на протяжении более чем 6 десятилетий. Говорят, что среди жителей штата есть Сталин и Троцкий, а также человек по имени Правда.
Но есть и другая история. В 2017 году в Индии был вынужден сменить имя морской инженер по имени Саддам Хусейн. Он не сразу понял, что ему отказали в трудоустройстве в 40 метах подряд именно потому, что он тезка и однофамилец казненного президента Ирака.
На одном из собеседований представитель судоходной компании объяснил ему, что человека с таким именем невозможно принять на работу, связанную с частыми поездками за границу и заполнением бумаг в аэропортах.
