Лондонский ливень затопил Тауэрский мост. Такое непривычно даже британцам
Сильные ливни, обрушившиеся на столицу Великобратании, привели к подтоплению домов и проезжей части в центре города. Но самое необычное — затопленным оказался Тауэрский мост.
Уровень выпавших накануне осадков оценивается в 15-25 мм, а в некоторых местах и вовсе 75 мм. Это значительно превышает расчетную нагрузку на ливневую канализацию.
Несмотря на наличие в конструкции моста свободы стока, дорожное полотно Тауэр-бридж оказалось под водой. А вот пешеходы переходили без проблем.
Что будет, если подвижные секции Тауэрского моста выйдут из строя и останутся открытыми? Пробки. И не только
Телеграф показывал удивившее даже флегматичных жителей Лондона видео, на котором гигантское скопление машин является следствием поломки Тауэрского моста, который оставался открытым более 12 часов.
