Американец Билл Фишер из штата Северная Дакота каждую осень оказывается объектом внимания СМИ. Восемь лет живущая неподалеку белка складывает в подкапотное пространство его автомобиля кучу грецких орехов.
56-летний американец отчаялся отучить белку делать из машины кладовку.
«Я знаком с этой рыжей белкой с 2013 года. Это своего рода уже ритуал — использовать мой грузовик для хранения орехов», — рассказывает Билл.
Осенью 2021 года белка не изменила привычке. Фишер, как и в прошлые года, выделил выходной на очистку капота. В этом году белка превзошла себя и собрала в капот Фишеру 158 кг.
Что делает Билл Фишер с «бесплатными орехами», он не рассказывает. Зато не скрывает, что все отпугивающие уловки, включая опрыскивание кузова раствором острого перца, зверек проигнорировал.
«Я сам как белка в колесе, когда вытаскиваю все эти орехи из своего грузовика», — говорит Фишер.
