Японский архитектор развлекается, возводя колонии туалетов
Японский архитектор Кэнго Кума решил удивить жителей Токио и построил в районе Сибуя пять общественных туалетов, организовав целостное пространство в виде деревни из деревянных домиков-уборных.
Колония туалетов имеет поэтическое название «Прогулка по лесу», сообщает Рамблер со ссылкой на японские источники.
Кэнго Кума является участником проекта Tokyo Toilet Project и получил на свое творчество грант от фонда Nippon Foundation. По его инициативе кирпичные туалеты заменили на пять обитых кедровыми досками небольших «хижин».
Кабины соединены ступенчатой тропинкой, а внутри оборудованы необходимой техникой.
Сам архитектор поясняет, что хотел изменить восприятие людьми общественных туалетов и вписать уборные в пространство парка и пейзаж.
Кстати, в январе этого года архитекторы из японского бюро Suppose Design Office построили рядом с центральным вокзалом Токио общественный туалет в форме гигантского ящика из бетона. Семиметровая высотка не соприкасается с поверхностью, создавая впечатление парения над землей.
