Американские ученые из университета Кларксона в Потсдаме в штате Нью-Йорк обнаружили связь между кишечным микробиомом и личностным состоянием человека.
Как правило, микробиом кишечника стабилен. Но под воздействием медпрепаратов некоторые бактерии могут активизировать и начать влиять на поведенческие особенности человека.
Руководитель исследовательской группы доктор Али Булани рассказал, что открытие подтвердило предположения других медиков о том, что между метаболизмом и потерей человеком энергичности, внутренними воспалениями и хронической усталостью есть связь.
В исследовании участвовали 20 добровольцев, периодически принимающих различные препараты, в первую очередь — антибиотики. Кишечный микробиом пациентов был изучен по образцам стула — до начала работа и во время исследования.
Затем добровольцев тестировали по параметрам энергии и усталости с учетом психической и физической составляющей. В ходе исследования медики выявили связь бактерий с параметрами усталости. И сделали вывод: под воздействием антибиотиков часть бактерий кишечника активизируется и сказывается на общем психическом состоянии. Как следствие, меняются поведенческие реакции, ведь утрата энергетического потенциала и усталость влияют на отношение человека к окружающим раздражителям.
