Астрофизик из Арабских Эмиратов Аиша Аль Язиди, научный сотрудник Центра астрономии, физики частиц и планет при Нью-Даби, опубликовала исследовательскую работу, предлагающую неожиданные для консервативной науки выкладки об эволюции галактик.
«Эволюция галактик напрямую обусловлена активностью их центральной сверхмассивной черной дыры. Однако связь между активностью черной дыры и утратой газа галактикой плохо изучена. Наша задача – продолжить исследования, необходимые для понимания —как центральная сверхмощная черная дыра влияет на эволюцию родительской галактики».
Аль Язиди настаивает на том, что все без исключения галактики приходят к фазе иссякания большей части газа и, как следствие, к существенным метаморфозам. Не исключение — и Млечный Путь.
