Русские военные рассказали, почему перестали ставить «мангалы» на танки
Российские военные с начала войны в Украине активно «совершенствовали» защиту своих танков. Например, наваривали сверху башни решетчатые конструкции — козырьки, которые быстро получили из-за схожести название «мангалы».
Таким образом, российские танкисты надеялись снизить ущерб от ударов Джавелинов и других НАТОвских ПТУР, которые есть на вооружении украинцев.
Впрочем, это не особо помогало. В сети появились сотни фотографий, где видны разбитые российские танки с такими «мангалами».
«Обвесы (металлические решетки для защиты от противотанковых ракет) мы сначала все наварили на танки, а потом их сняли. Во-первых, неудобно: пулемет не двигается, антенна когда замыкает о решетку — горит радиостанция, связь исчезает. И если будет какое-то возгорание, там просто нереально вылезти из танка. Потому что когда встаешь в полный рост — упираешься. Поэтому их все сняли и выбросили», — рассказал один танкист, передает MK.ru.
Ранее Телеграф сообщил, что украинцы тоже пытались кустарными способами усовершенствовать технику. Знаменитые «Бандеромобили», о которых в начале войны заявили в российском командовании, получили новую жизнь в Украине.
