Компания Tesla по соглашению с Национальным управлением безопасности дорожного движения США отзовет 53 822 электромобиля из-за сбоя в системе автопилота Full Self-Driving («Полное самоуправление»).
Будут отозваны автомобили Model S и Model X (2016?2022 годов), Model 3 (2017-02022) и Model Y (2020-2022).
Проблема связана с функцией rolling stop («плавная остановка»), которая отвечает за торможение перед запрещающим движение знаком. В NHTSA считают, что она может позволить автомобилю проехать без остановки на перекрестках, перед которыми установлен знак «Стоп».
Представители Tesla заявили, что им неизвестно об авариях из-за этой проблемы. Однако по требованию управления компания обновит программное обеспечение на всех автомобилях и отключит эту функцию.
В конце 2021 года Tesla из-за технических дефектов, которые могут повысить риск ДТП, отозвала почти полмиллиона автомобилей.
Так, у автомобилей Model 3 во время открытия и закрытия багажника повреждались провода камеры заднего вида, а у некоторых машин Model S может случайно открываться капот.
