Британский музыкант Стинг 6 марта в Instagram исполнил в поддержку Украины свою старую антивоенную песню «Russians», посвященную «холодной войне».
Певец написал, насколько ужасно то, что песня 1985 года опять актуальна.
«Я очень редко пел эту песню за долгие годы, прошедшие с тех пор, как она была написана, потому что я никогда не думал, что она снова будет актуальна. Но в свете кровавого и прискорбно ошибочного решения одного человека вторгнуться на территорию мирного, не угрожающего соседа песня снова является призывом к нашей общей человечности. Для смелых украинцев, борющихся против этой жестокой тирании, а также для многих россиян, которые протестуют против этого безобразия, несмотря на угрозу ареста и тюремного заключения. Мы все любим своих детей. Прекратите войну», — написал он.
Музыкант призвал помочь Украине материально. Он опубликовал адрес склада в Польше, по которому можно отправлять гуманитарную помощь, и подробно рассказал, как нужно оформить надпись на посылке.
