На второй день российского военного вторжения в Украину экс-президент страны Петр Порошенко появился в эфире телеканала CNN с автоматом Калашникова и рассказал, что вступил в Территориальную оборону Киева.

«Просто моя помощь тут. Это Калашников… У нас нет артиллерии, у нас нет танков, у нас нет бронетранспортера, этот процесс мы запустили пару дней назад, но мы сделали это за два дня», — сказал Порошенко.
56-летний Порошенко был президентом Украины с 2014 по 2019 годы.
3 апреля боец Территориальной обороны Порошенко рассказал в своем аккаунте в Instagram об увиденном в освобожденной от российских войск Буче. Экс-президент отметил, что за 39 дней войны видел много смертей, но акт массовой расправы с гражданским населением Бучи и Ирпеня потрясает самое закаленное воображение.
Ранее Петр Порошенко рассказывал в телеэфире мировому сообществу о трагедии в Мариуполе и о необходимости более жестких шагов в поддержку Украины.
Порошенко участвует в работе европейских структур. Он отметил, что в ситуации нависшей над страной опасности примирился с действующим президентом Зеленским, хотя прежде тот обвинял Порошенко в госизмене.
