В Шотландии за бесценок выставлен на продажу замок Kinloch на живописном острове Рам.
Возведенное более 120 лет назад, историческое поместье воспето в местных легендах, но желающего приобрести его нет.
Причина банальна — за все годы своего существования замок ни разу не ремонтировался. По оценке экспертов, новому владельцу придется потратить на ремонт 20 миллионов фунтов.
Таким богачом не может позволить себе выступить даже государство. Хотя хотело бы. Ведь именно оно наложило ограничение — менять историческую ценность нельзя, внешние плановые изменения, которые могли бы удешевить реставрацию, недопустимы.
Когда-то замок был центром светской жизни. Одна из его изюминок — уникальный инструмент оркестрион, звучание которого имитирует целый оркестр. На реставрацию инструмента нужно от 50 тысяч фунтов.
«Будущий владелец Kinloch, должен преследовать всего три цели: сохранение замка, обеспечение устойчивого развития местного сообщества, а также улучшение природы Рома», — предупреждают потенциальных покупателей.
Сегодняшний владелец замка готов продать его не только олигарху, а и благотворительному фонду или частной организации. Важно лишь подтвердить финансовое состояние.
