В Украине появилась команда пожарных-монахинь. Во главе с игуменией
В Украине в Черкасской области 22 декабря объявили о создании добровольной пожарной команды, в которой будут нести службу монахини.
Команда пожарниц организована в Свято-Троицком Мотронинском женском монастыре в селе Мельники Медведевской сельской территориальной общины.
В состав новой пожарной команды вошли игуменья Иллария, две послушницы монастыря Лариса и Кристина и два водителя пожарного автомобиля.
Команда будет обеспечивать пожарную безопасность монастыря и реагирование на чрезвычайные события.
Кроме того монахини-добровольцы будут защищать от пожаров семь сел и два поселка, потому что ближайшая государственная пожарная часть находится в 20 километрах от Медведевской сельской общины.
Монахини-добровольцы прошли специальные учения, во время которых отработали упражнения по боевому развертыванию, подаче воды и оказанию первой домедицинской помощи пострадавшим.
