Марсоход NASA восстановил связь с Землей и прислал фото. Две недели его блокировало Солнце
Специалисты NASA 29 октября сообщили о том, что марсоход «Perseverance» жив-здоров. Он смог выйти на связь и даже прислал несколько цветных фотографий.
На протяжении двух недель Солнце находилось между Землей и Марсом, блокируя связь между NASA и «Perseverance». Дистанционное управление и получение информацию с марсохода и мини-вертолета «Ingenuity» было невозможным. Между собой оба аппарата обменивались сообщениями примерно раз в неделю.
Все это время марсоход продолжал исследовать кратер Езеро, изучать атмосферу и поверхность планеты и — делать фотографии.
Рабочие неприятности у «Perseverance» не редкость. Например, он не сразу смог забрать лунный грунт
Телеграф рассказывал о том, что 7 августа специалистам NASA пришлось развести руками — марсоходу не удалось сделать забор лунного грунта с первой попытки. Менеджер Дженнифер Троспер предположила, что причина неудачи — неверные прогнозы о характере реакции горной породы на процесс отбора.
