В США в Нью-Джерси на реке Гудзон установили женскую голову с прижатым к губам пальцем. Огромная статуя высотой более 24 метров смотрит на Манхэттен.
Это работа испанского художника Жауме Пленса «Душа воды».
Концепция памятника — в молчаливом призыве статуи прислушаться к себе и «шуму воды, разговаривающей с нами». Второй посыл — ценность воды в условиях глобального потепления.
Жауме Пленса — один из самых известных современных художников, его скульптуры и инсталляции украшают улицы многих городов в Европе, Северной и Южной Америках, а также приобретены крупнейшими музеями мира.
