Как правильно хранить морковь в квартире? Все дело в обрезке
Наличие дачи не означает обладания и подвалом в городской высотке. Если вы из тех, кто не оставляет запасов в неотапливаемом загородном домике, а везет их в город, возникает вопрос: как сохранить урожай.
Где хранить запасы моркови, вы, наверное, уже решили. Но как правильно подготовить?
Самое важное — обрезка. Некоторые срезают ботву моркови только после того, как вымыли и высушили корнеплоды. Но это неправильно. Срезать ботву нужно сразу.
Почему? Чем дольше морковь хранит на себе зеленую массу, тем больше напитывается ее влагой.
Следующий момент — параметры обрезки. Нужно срезать не только ботву, но и сантиметр плода.
Во-первых, морковь не будет прорастать
Во-вторых, от лежания край может позеленеть и придать горечь вкусу
Важно и не допустить грибка. Для этого обрезанные края нужно погрузить на пару секунд в золу еще до просушки.
